HMMMM... BOP

Just learned a new acronym today called BOP (base of the pyramid). It’s supposedly a marketing term used for the poorer people of society. Seems like these new terms just keep on popping up.

  1. Sounds a lot like the new politically-correct term, and like no one wants to say out loud the harsh truth that there are much more poor people than there are rich ones, who are after all “the tippy-top of the pyramid.”
