Fast Company Social Capitalist Awards

I’ve been a fan of Fast Company ever since I picked up issue #2. They just presented doing business as being very fun and creative as opposed to the drab and drone-like environment I’ve been exposed to over the years.

For the past couple of years they have been covering the world of social capitalism. For me, at least, it sounded like an oxymoron. It did open my eyes to the possibility that you can do business and at the same time make a difference.

Here are links to the Fast Company Social Capitalist Awards for the year 2004, 2005 and 2006. You can also visit their social capitalist resource center.

The awards do only feature American companies. I wonder if there is something similar for Asia and Europe.
